Do meu coração...
Não sou vidrada em futebol. Gosto de assistir a um bom jogo e, sem ter nenhum time do coração, torço pra quem, na minha opinião, estiver jogando melhor.
Mas, quando chega a Copa do Mundo, "coloco o coração na chuteira (!!)" e me sinto o décimo segundo jogador em campo!
Hoje é dia de se alegrar e estufar o peito quando o Hino Nacional tocar.
Estou me preparando com camisa oficial da seleção, pão de queijo e bolo de milho. E haja café pra me manter acordada... a cerimônia de abertura será televisionada, aqui na Austrália, às 4 horas da manhã!
Apesar de todo estresse com protestos e atrasos durante a preparação do país pra receber a Copa, aposto que todo mundo irá se emocionar e gritar contente quando a seleção do Felipão marcar o primeiro gol.
E que seja como Jérôme Valcke, secretário geral da FIFA, comentou sobre o comportamento da torcida brasileira diante dos times adversários que disputaram a Copa das Confederações no ano passado: "torcendo pra seus times favoritos, sem hostilizar o grupo adversário. Assim é o brasileiro que ama futebol acima de tudo".
Então, que seja uma Copa 'para' o mundo, para todas as nacionalidades celebrarem o futebol, com alegria, lá no Brasil, terra de apaixonados pelo esporte e potenciais hexa-campeões! :-D

I'm not crazy about soccer. I like to watch a good match and, without supporting any team in particular, I cheer for that which, in my opinion, is playing better.
But when it comes to World Cup, "I put my heart on the tip of the boot", as we say it in Brazil, and feel like I'm the twelfth player on the field!
Today is the day to rejoice and puff our chests up when the National Anthem is playing.
I am preparing myself with the official Brazilian shirt, cheese bread and corn cake. There will need a lot of coffee to keep me awake ... the opening ceremony will be televised here in Australia at 4 o'clock in the morning!
Despite all stress due to the protests and delays during the country's preparations to host the World Cup, I bet everyone will get excited and shout, happy, when Scolari's selection scores the first goal.
May it be as Jérôme Valcke, FIFA Secretary General, commented on the behavior of Brazilian fans before opposing teams who competed in the Confederations Cup last year: "Rooting for their favorite teams without antagonizing the opponents. This is the Brazilian people who love soccer above all ".
So, may it be a Cup 'for' the world, for all nationalities to celebrate soccer with joy, in Brazil, the land of a people passionate about this sport and potential hexa-champions! :-D
