Eu sempre me liguei nesse assunto.
A quem interessar, eu recomendo: http://www.livrodegraca.com/2009/05/livro-dieta-dos-pontos-dr-alfredo.html

THERE´S NO EXCUSE!
It seems that the big threat of these days, after the urban violence, really is obesity. Or concern with food ... I´ve always been interested in it. So, I graduated in food technology, worked 23 years in the area and soon will be a nutritionist. But surprises me that, lately, seem to be one of the main subjects of the news on television and the Internet. Or am I seeing too much?
A few days ago, I watched a documentary about obesity on the Futura channel; the program Bem Estar (Well Being), on the Globo channel, discuss about it (obesity, diet, nutrition, etc.) every other day; the tv news, at noon, almost daily, have tips about the subject (nutrition education, food rich in fiber, etc.). The website Terra, today, has an article saying that sweets are good for children´s health. The UOL has a good story on diet myths.

I think that's great! Even people who are less engaged and concerned about their health simply end up joining the crowd to better care of the body and food as they are bombarded with information about it. And, you know, anything repeated over and over, becomes truth. Even for the most stubborn!
About ten years ago, I used the famous Points Diet (simpler than the Weight Watchers´ one), created by Dr. Alfredo Halpern, an endocrinologist at the Hospital das Clinicas in Sao Paulo, and put out 10kg. As the method made me pay more attention to everything I ate, the secondary effect was nourishing re-education that accompanies me until today.
So, I guess it has never been so easy to learn how to eat healthy. Just get started! Good luck, stay healthy. :-)
